Privacy Policy

Last updated September 4, 2026

This template describes what the software does. Have a lawyer review it against your jurisdiction before you rely on it — GDPR, CCPA and ePrivacy each impose requirements this text does not attempt to cover.

What is stored on your device

Your current puzzle, timer, pencil marks and undo history are saved in your browser using IndexedDB so that a refresh does not lose your game. This data never leaves your device and is not readable by us. Clearing your browser storage deletes it.

What is sent to the server

Only when you choose to save a leaderboard score: the name you type, your completion time, the number of hints you used, and the difficulty. If you leave the name blank it is stored as “Anonymous”. We do not ask for an email address and there are no user accounts.

Cookies

The site itself sets no tracking cookies. One cookie stores your language choice when you pick one from the switcher, and one more is used for the administrator login — only for people who sign in to the dashboard.

Advertising and analytics

This site may load third-party tags that set their own cookies and can build an advertising profile. Which ones are active depends on the site settings: Google AdSense for ad serving and measurement, Google Analytics for traffic measurement, and Google Tag Manager for tag delivery.

Your choices

  • Clear your browser storage to erase your saved game.
  • Use a browser-level ad or tracker blocker; the game works fully without any third-party script.
  • To have a leaderboard entry removed, contact us with the name and approximate time.

Children

The site is suitable for all ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The only text a player can submit is a display name, which should not contain personal details.

Changes

Material changes will be reflected here with a new “last updated” date.
